Manage assistant knowledge data

Use the Data page to add, review, and clean the content your Assistants use for answers.

What data you can add

OXVO supports two source types in this view:

  • Website URLs for crawling public pages.
  • Document uploads such as .pdf, .csv, .txt, and .docx (up to 10 MB per file).

You can also create direct FAQ entries in this workspace without attaching a website.

Add a website source

  1. Open OXVO Assistant → Data.
  2. Select Add new and choose website input.
  3. Enter the URL and choose the target Assistant.
  4. Save. OXVO starts indexing and generating response candidates.

Upload document sources

  1. In the same Add new dialog, switch to file upload.
  2. Upload a supported file.
  3. Select the Assistant that should use this content.
  4. Save and wait for processing.

Warning: Keep uploaded files free of secrets or credentials. Indexed content can be used in future replies.

Review processing status

Use the built-in filters to manage large datasets:

  • Status (for example, pending vs approved)
  • Assistant
  • Source type (web content or FAQ-only content)
  • Search by title or content cues

If a source is still processing, it remains visible with a pending state until indexing and answer generation complete.

Organize and clean up knowledge

  • Expand a source to inspect generated answers.
  • Delete outdated sources to avoid stale answers.
  • Use bulk selection to remove multiple entries faster.
  • Keep separate datasets per assistant when possible.
