Invite teammates and set roles

OXVO uses one user system across messaging and Sessions. Start with clear role boundaries.

Choose your role model

  • Administrator: Full workspace management.
  • Agent: Day-to-day conversation handling.
  • Custom role (if enabled): Fine-grained permission set.

Invite teammates and set roles

  1. Add two administrators for operational continuity.
  2. Add agents and assign them to teams.
  3. Grant inbox access by membership.
  4. If custom roles are enabled, create role templates by function.

Configure Sessions permissions in custom roles

If custom role permissions for Sessions are available in your workspace, assign only what each team needs:

  • Session Replay
  • Dashboards/Metrics
  • Assist (Live / Call)
  • Data management
  • Session Replay Admin

Validate Access

  1. Sign in as a non-admin test agent.
  2. Confirm they can access only expected sections.
  3. Verify Sessions menu visibility aligns with permission grants.
  4. Check custom role assignments if enabled: Open Custom Roles

Tip: Keep admin accounts separate from day-to-day agent accounts for better auditability.
